Day trip to the Ras Mohammed National Park by land
Sharm El SheikhDiscover Ras Mohammed National Park – A Diving and Nature Paradise
Just 12 km from Sharm El Sheikh, Ras Mohammed National Park is a breathtaking natural reserve offering world-class diving, snorkeling, and camping. As you enter the park, a scenic coastal road takes you past the stunning Marsa Bareika Bay, where the crystal-clear waters shimmer in shades of turquoise and deep blue.
Stop at the Ras Mohammed Gate, also known as the Gate of Allah, an iconic landmark built after the 1973 war. On the way to the first dive site, marvel at the Magic Lake, famous for changing colours up to seven times a day.
At Shark Observatory, climb the cliffside to a panoramic viewing platform showcasing the park’s beauty. Along the way, spot ancient marine fossils embedded in the rock formations. After your first dive, visit the northernmost mangroves in the world, home to a unique ecosystem. Peer into the earthquake crack, where blind saltwater shrimp thrive.
Your second dive takes place at a Bedouin camp in Marsa Bareika, followed by a BBQ lunch by the sea, where you can enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and the delicious aroma of grilled food.
