You’ll find Jilly at our Sharm El Sheikh dive centre—and if you’ve been diving in Sharm for years, you’ve probably bumped into her at some point. Jilly’s ties to Egypt predate her diving career: her mother lived here as a child. With more than 25 years of experience in the Sharm El Sheikh diving industry, Jilly—a PADI Course Director since 2009—is also a TDI Trimix Diver and IANTD Trimix Cave Diver. Since 2009, she has overseen many PADI IDCs and supported numerous IE candidates, some of whom have gone on to become Course Directors themselves. Jilly is known for her strict adherence to PADI Standards and her in-depth knowledge of scuba diving. She enjoys teaching and is always happy to sit with any student to explain dive theory or share buoyancy tips.
